GTA 6 NEWS
Every GTA 6 drop, leak and deal. In 5 minutes.

Hey,
Rockstar finally let someone in. Edge spent time inside Rockstar North, and the full feature is now free to read. The line everyone is quoting: Leonida's landmass is nearly as big as the GTA IV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 maps combined. This brief covers that, plus Rockstar footage in South Park, a $3.9 million Miami-Dade deal and a record demand survey.

01 / NEWS
Rockstar North opens up to Edge.
Edge's Issue 430 cover feature is now free on GamesRadar+. Rockstar North's three heads of development, Rob Nelson, Aaron Garbut and Phil Hooker, all went on record. The map is roughly twice the size of GTA V's. Rockstar says the total landmass is nearly as large as the GTA IV, GTA V and RDR2 maps combined.
Garbut promises "an order of magnitude more interiors." Hooker says buses and trains fully work, and he has memorised all the routes. Days and nights last longer. A Criminal Profile scale runs from Professional to Irredeemable and shapes how Jason and Lucia's story unfolds. It is not the police system. That is heat, which tracks things like CCTV and your clothes, and it comes with stinger strips and K9 units.
Why it matters This is the biggest official detail drop before the 19 November launch, straight from the people building it. Nelson's verdict on the game: "It's ready."
02 / EXCLUSIVE
South Park airs Rockstar-supplied GTA 6 footage.
Season 29 Episode 4, Guinea Pig On A Stick, aired on 28 October with GTA 6 footage playing on a TV inside the episode. The end credits list "Grand Theft Auto VI footage courtesy of Rockstar Games, Inc." under Special Thanks. Insider Gaming describes the scene: a dog fouls a beach, the owner bends down, and the player hits him with the dog poo. YouTuber TGG described this mechanic back in August, but this is the first time it has been seen on screen.
Credibility High. The credit is right there on screen. Nobody has called it a marketing deal, and Rockstar, Take-Two and Comedy Central have not commented.
03 / MONEY
Nearly 1 in 3 US gamers plan to buy GTA 6.
Circana's PlayerPulse survey puts GTA 6 at 29% purchase intent among US console and PC gamers. That is the highest Circana has recorded for any video game. Analyst Mat Piscatella expects it to drive console upgrades, accessories and subscriptions through the holiday quarter. Keep it in proportion: this is what people say they plan to buy, not preorders.
Why it matters The survey counts PC players, yet GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles only. Circana does not split the 29% by platform, so treat it as a demand signal, not a sales forecast.
04 / PROMOS
Miami-Dade signs a $3.9 million Rockstar package.
Miami-Dade County announced a marketing and advertising package worth $3.9 million with Rockstar Games. The plans include themed lighting at Miami International Airport and PortMiami, displays on airport walkways and wraps on traffic signal cabinets. The $975,000 Welcome to Vice City sign on the Kaseya Center is part of that total, not on top of it. The designs still need county approval, so do not expect the lights tonight.
The cities of Miami and Miami Beach have their own deals too, including banners downtown and ads on beach concession gear. Vice City is slowly moving into the real one.

DON'T HEAR IT SECOND
That is the week. A map nearly the size of three Rockstar worlds, a cartoon with Rockstar's blessing and a county that wants its cut. Launch is three weeks out.
