Neon coastal street at dusk

Hey,

Twenty days out, and GTA 6 is on a Paris tower, on Comedy Central and on your SSD shopping list. The full Edge feature is now free to read, and it holds a lot more than the map line everyone quoted this week. This brief covers what else Rockstar North said, the South Park scene in full, the 210GB install and the billboards going up from Paris to Times Square.

IN TODAY'S BRIEF

  • News / What else is in Edge's 16-page feature

  • TV / South Park posts the full GTA 6 scene

  • Storage / 210GB on PS5 and a 12 November preload

  • Promos / Paris finishes its tower, Times Square adds six faces

Edge's full GTA 6 feature is free, and the map is only the start.

Edge's 16-page cover feature went free on GamesRadar+ at 00.01 UK time on 29 October. Simon Parkin wrote it after watching Rob Nelson play the current build for about 90 minutes with no script. The map is roughly twice the size of GTA V's, and Rockstar puts the landmass close to GTA IV, GTA V and RDR2 combined. Every pedestrian is art directed, with around 600,000 animations.

Phil Hooker says the buses and trains fully work, and he has memorised every route. Police heat tracks your description, your partner, your clothes, CCTV and your weapon, so splitting up and changing outfits actually matters. The Criminal Profile is a separate scale, from Professional to Irredeemable, and it shapes how Jason and Lucia's story unfolds. Edge also describes a smell system that makes characters recoil, a much longer day and night, and some natural gating, so now and then you will need to rob a gas station before the next job.

Rumour check The 201 missions across nine chapters doing the rounds on X are not from Edge. The figure comes from an account called remus_r with five posts and no source. Rockstar has only said the game is set over chapters, without giving a count.

02 / TV

South Park posts the full GTA 6 dog poop scene.

Guinea Pig On A Stick aired on Wednesday. On Thursday afternoon South Park posted the whole scene on X, and the throw is now clearly on screen. The GTA 6 footage runs just under 20 seconds, per IGN. A red convertible cruises a palm-lined road, a dog squats on a Leonida beach, and the player lobs the result at a man in green shorts, who staggers back and then squares up.

The end credits list "Grand Theft Auto VI footage courtesy of Rockstar Games, Inc." under Special Thanks, so this is real footage and not a recreation. It is also the fourth Season 29 episode in a row to joke about the game. Nobody has called it a partnership, and Rockstar, Take-Two and Comedy Central have stayed quiet. South Park captioned the clip with the character's own line: "That is what's coming in November."

03 / STORAGE

GTA 6 needs 210GB on PS5, and preload opens 12 November.

PlayStation Store database data, posted by the tracker PlayStation Game Size, lists the PS5 download at 210GB. That is about 2.4 times GTA V on PS5. Rockstar and Sony have not confirmed it, and a launch patch could push it higher. Preload opens on 12 November for digital preorders.

Boxed copies hold a download code rather than a disc, so they need the same space. On a launch PS5, 210GB is about 31% of the usable storage. There is no Xbox figure yet, because the store still shows a placeholder. The game unlocks at midnight GMT on 19 November in the UK and at 5am UK time on the US East Coast, and our storage guide has the space-clearing checklist.

04 / PROMOS

GTA 6 takes over a Paris tower and a Times Square corner.

The cover art is finished on the west tower of Les Mercuriales at Porte de Bagnolet, right over the Paris ring road. Rope workers hung it one strip at a time from 6 October, and the bottom reads 19 Novembre 2026. Fan accounts say Jason and Lucia panels are going up on the sides next. Treat that part as unconfirmed until they are done.

In New York, a second cluster at Seventh Avenue and West 49th Street carries six ad faces, filmed on 28 October. Lucia is still drawing her pistol there, unlike the Chicago tour bus wraps that edited it out. Ads have also turned up in Tokyo, Osaka, Madrid and São Paulo. Rockstar has not said who paid for any of it, which is very on brand.
